Welcome!

I work at the Centre of Public Law of the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, within the context of an international project called "Open Constitutional Democracy" co-led by Prof. Odile Ammann. In this project, we explore how contemporary theories of deliberative democracy can be reconciled with foundational constitutional institutions, including judicial review, the separation of powers, and bills of rights.

Before joining UniL, I was a postdoctoral researcher in political theory at the School of Politics and International Relations of the University College Dublin, Ireland.

My research interests include normative democratic theory, democratic innovations, sortition, political representation, and the ethics of political parties.

I am also a member and the treasurer of the association DemocracyNet
